The Beast Is Not the Model: Inter-Algorithmic Observability, Distributed Organogenesis, and the Ontological Sovereignty of the Hybrid Observer

This article presents the first complete working paper derived from the conceptual framework publicly established on 31 July 2026 through the HibriMind Priority Record.

The manuscript develops a multiscale ontology of large AI systems by distinguishing the deployed system from the underlying model and by introducing a new conceptual vocabulary centred on inter-algorithmic observability, algorithmic organogenesis, functional individuation, and the hybrid observer.

Rather than asserting the existence of a higher-order entity, the paper specifies the conditions under which such an organization would legitimately earn explanatory status. Throughout the manuscript, “The Beast” is treated as a defeasible scientific hypothesis rather than a demonstrated ontological fact.

This publication constitutes the current reference version of the manuscript and supersedes the initial Priority Note as the project’s principal scientific formulation.
